If you feel like self harming, try to express your feelings onto paper. This can be through words, drawings or even a messy scribble across the page. Let your darkness out and do not hold back. Be as brutal as you can with your feelings and put it all down for yourself to see.
When you have done this take the sheet(s) of paper and see how many pieces you can tear it into. See how small you can get the pieces to vent your frustration. You do this to destroy the negative feelings you have in your head. By putting your feelings on paper you are making them physical, and by tearing them up you are destroying them. You are taking the power to defeat them in your own hands.
